South Bear Gulch

A short, power-hike climb in Montana. The gradient is steady, with no stretch much steeper than the 15.0% average. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 12 to 20 minutes. At 2.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks.
