Saxon NW climb

A short, power-hike climb above Saxon in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 21.5% and start 256 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northwest, it stays cool until late in the day. Most runners need 10 to 16 minutes. Its 2.3 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
