Ward Mountain Trail

A long, power-hike climb in Montana. The hardest 500 metres average 23.1% and start 5.0 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring. Most runners need 98 to 165 minutes. At 22.0 TEP it is harder than 95% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
