Piegan Pass Trail

This run-hike climb rises in Montana. Expect 24 to 40 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 16.8% and start 2.6 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. It faces west: cool in the morning, sunny and warm from midday. Its 2.9 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
