Cook Mountain Trail
A power-hike climb in Idaho. The hardest 500 metres average 21.4% and start 1.5 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 42 to 70 minutes. At 8.0 TEP it is harder than 72% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
