Mesa Trail #13 Loop

A short, very steep climb in New Mexico. The hardest 500 metres average 28.9% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 12 to 20 minutes. At 6.5 TEP it is harder than 63% of the climbs in the catalogue. East-facing, so it takes the morning sun and is in shade by the afternoon. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
