A very steep climb above Fontana in Ticino. The hardest 500 metres average 50.5% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 88 to 149 minutes. At 50.0 TEP it is harder than almost every climb in the catalogue. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
