Abes Lake Trail

A very steep climb in Utah. The hardest 500 metres average 35.5% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 24 to 40 minutes. At 10.0 TEP it is harder than 79% of the climbs in the catalogue. Northwest-facing, so it stays cool and holds snow late. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
