La Vey Planne

A short, power-hike climb above Basse-Nendaz in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 24.0% and start 309 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it gets the full heat of the afternoon. Most runners need 8 to 14 minutes. Its 2.2 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
