A short, power-hike climb in New Mexico. The hardest 500 metres average 25.8% and start 322 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Northwest-facing, so it stays cool and holds snow late. Most runners need 15 to 25 minutes. At 4.0 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
