A short, power-hike climb in Idaho. The hardest 500 metres average 20.0% and start 542 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 12 to 21 minutes. At 2.8 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
