Chemin des Buis
A short, power-hike climb above Montfaucon in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The hardest 500 metres average 19.9% and start 286 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. West-facing: shaded in the morning, in the sun through the afternoon. Most runners need 13 to 23 minutes. At 2.9 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks.
