Dark Canyon Trail
A long, mostly runnable climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 21.1% and start 2.4 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 57 to 95 minutes. At 3.9 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
