Castle Ravine Trail / The Link

This long, run-hike climb rises in New Hampshire. Expect 52 to 87 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 32.3% and start 6.2 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. At 5.5 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
