San Leonardo Lakes Trail (30)
This long, run-hike climb rises in New Mexico. Expect 50 to 84 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 24.3% and start 4.5 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Northwest-facing, so it stays cool and holds snow late. At 8.0 TEP it is harder than 72% of the climbs in the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
