Grand Tour de Tarentaise

This run-hike climb rises above Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Expect 24 to 40 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 22.6% and start 2.8 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. Its 2.0 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
