Chatzenlochweg

Chatzenlochweg is a power-hike climb above Nesslau in St. Gallen. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 20.7% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 3.4 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 20 to 33 minutes. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley.
