Laplata Peak-Blackbear Trail
This long, very steep climb rises in Colorado. Expect 68 to 114 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 42.5% and start 4.4 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. At 21.0 TEP it is harder than 95% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
