Karstein - Lachtalalm-Sattel

A short, power-hike climb above Kitzbühel in Tirol. The hardest 500 metres average 21.0% and start 529 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Most runners need 9 to 16 minutes. Its 2.0 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue.
