A power-hike climb in New Mexico. The hardest 500 metres average 17.3% and start 657 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. West-facing: shaded in the morning, in the sun through the afternoon. Most runners need 14 to 24 minutes. At 2.8 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
