A power-hike climb above Town of Mamakating in New York. The hardest 500 metres average 21.5% and start 789 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. West-facing: shaded in the morning, in the sun through the afternoon. Most runners need 15 to 25 minutes. At 2.9 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
