Manning Trail

A short, power-hike climb above Alexandria in New Hampshire. The hardest 500 metres average 20.5% and start 416 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. East-facing, so it takes the morning sun and is in shade by the afternoon. Most runners need 9 to 15 minutes. At 2.2 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
