GR-240. Etapa 02. Casa forestal La Cortijuela-Rinconada de Nigüelas

A run-hike climb above Dílar in Andalucía. The hardest 500 metres average 22.7% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 15 to 25 minutes. Its 2.3 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. The nearest named summit, Cerro de las Chozas at 1,922 m, is 380 m away.
