Shonkin Creek

A short, power-hike climb in Montana. The hardest 500 metres average 19.5% and start 784 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. Most runners need 15 to 25 minutes. At 3.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue.
