Independence Lake Trail

A power-hike climb in Washington. The hardest 500 metres average 30.8% and start 954 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. Most runners need 28 to 47 minutes. At 7.5 TEP it is harder than 69% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
