South Kelsey National Recreation Trail

A long, power-hike climb in California. The hardest 500 metres average 17.7% and start 1.4 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces north: the shady side, where snow stays longest. Most runners need 60 to 101 minutes. At 12.0 TEP it is harder than 84% of the climbs in the catalogue. Mostly on trail.
