East Hardy Ridge Trail

A run-hike climb in Washington. The hardest 500 metres average 17.5% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 24 to 40 minutes. At 2.2 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Southeast-facing, so it warms up early in the day. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
