Garland Peak Trail

A short, very steep climb in Washington. The hardest 500 metres average 34.5% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 11 to 18 minutes. At 7.5 TEP it is harder than 69% of the climbs in the catalogue. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring. Mostly on trail. The nearest named summit, Fifth of July Mountain at 2,345 m, is 344 m away.
