Pacific Crest Trail

A long, mostly runnable climb in California. The hardest 500 metres average 12.9% and start 7.1 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. Most runners need 92 to 154 minutes. At 3.1 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue.
