Verzasca NW climb

A short, very steep climb above Verzasca in Ticino. The hardest 500 metres average 24.2% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 9 to 15 minutes. At 2.7 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Northwest-facing, so it stays cool and holds snow late. It is graded demanding alpine hiking: exposed scrambling, where a fall would be serious. The nearest named summit, Cima di Bri at 2,520 m, is 847 m away.
