Frattenwälderstrasse

A short, power-hike climb above Unterterzen in St. Gallen. The hardest 500 metres average 23.9% and start 355 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces north and stays shaded: a good pick for a hot day. Most runners need 9 to 15 minutes. Its 2.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded as a hiking trail, so fitness matters more than footing.
