Blaitière du Dessous-Le Grand Chalet

A short, very steep climb above Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The hardest 500 metres average 21.6% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 12 to 20 minutes. Its 3.6 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year.
