Veia Monas

A short, power-hike climb above Riom in Graubünden. The hardest 500 metres average 20.3% and start 587 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Northeast-facing: morning sun only, and snow lingers into spring. Most runners need 10 to 18 minutes. At 2.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
