Gasenried SW climb

A very steep climb above Gasenried in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 28.8% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 46 to 78 minutes. At 16.0 TEP it is harder than 90% of the climbs in the catalogue. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands.
