A short, power-hike climb in Montana. The hardest 500 metres average 22.1% and start 436 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 11 to 18 minutes. At 2.3 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue.
