A power-hike climb above Embrun in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The hardest 500 metres average 22.5% and start 1.2 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. Most runners need 19 to 32 minutes. At 4.6 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
