This long, run-hike climb rises above Waterville Valley in New Hampshire. Expect 62 to 104 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 35.6% and start 7.0 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Northeast-facing: morning sun only, and snow lingers into spring. At 7.5 TEP it is harder than 69% of the climbs in the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
