Fayette Lake Trail

A power-hike climb in Wyoming. The hardest 500 metres average 16.4% and start 884 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 16 to 26 minutes. At 2.6 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
