Great Western Trail
A short, very steep climb in Utah. The hardest 500 metres average 24.6% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 9 to 16 minutes. Its 3.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Facing southeast, it catches the morning sun and loses its snow earlier than most. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
