Lion Meadow Trail
A long, mostly runnable climb in California. The hardest 500 metres average 19.0% and start 3.3 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. Most runners need 60 to 100 minutes. Its 3.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue.
