This run-hike climb rises above Gingins in Vaud. Expect 36 to 60 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 21.2% and start 3.3 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. It faces north: the shady side, where snow stays longest. Its 3.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands.
