Riffelberg-Trail
A short, power-hike climb above Zermatt in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 19.8% and start 235 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northeast, it loses the sun before midday and keeps its snow into spring. Most runners need 15 to 25 minutes. Its 3.1 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Mostly on gravel and farm tracks. The nearest named summit, Gugle at 2,721 m, is 632 m away.
