Via da l'Alp

A short, power-hike climb above Surlej in Graubünden. The hardest 500 metres average 23.9% and start 396 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing northwest, it stays cool and keeps its snow late into spring. Most runners need 8 to 14 minutes. Its 2.0 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
