Sentiero Meraggia
A short, power-hike climb above Ponte Capriasca in Ticino. The hardest 500 metres average 24.7% and start 440 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it gets the full heat of the afternoon. Most runners need 15 to 26 minutes. Its 3.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
