Emshornstrasse

Emshornstrasse is a short, very steep climb above Oberems in Valais. Its 2.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. The gradient is steady, with no stretch much steeper than the 18.9% average. Most runners need 7 to 12 minutes. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter. It faces north: the shady side, where snow stays longest.
