Schwarzseealpstrasse

A short, very steep climb above Davos in Graubünden. The hardest 500 metres average 23.8% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 11 to 18 minutes. At 3.8 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
