Klewenalp

A short, power-hike climb above Beckenried in Nidwalden. The hardest 500 metres average 17.5% and start 320 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces north: the shady side, where snow stays longest. Most runners need 12 to 20 minutes. Its 2.0 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
