Montagnier S climb

A short, very steep climb above Montagnier in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 23.2% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 8 to 14 minutes. Its 2.8 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
