Thal SW climb
A short, power-hike climb above Thal in Trentino-Alto Adige. The hardest 500 metres average 21.4% and start 352 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Most runners need 14 to 24 minutes. Its 2.7 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded demanding alpine hiking: exposed scrambling where a slip has consequences.
