Schwendistrasse

A short, very steep climb above Geissholz in Bern. The hardest 500 metres average 22.2% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 8 to 14 minutes. Its 2.5 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Facing northeast, it gets the morning sun and is shaded after that. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
